To create a website that reflected John Ryan’s luxury offering.
John Ryan approached us because they were in need of a site refresh. Their existing site was quite dated and didn’t reflect their position as luxury mattress and bed retailers. As John Ryan have no showrooms, the website was the only place for customers to purchase John Ryan products and so it was vital that the site had good UX.
From speaking with the client it also became clear that the back end of their existing website was making it difficult for them to manage their stock and inventory effectively due to a complicated and outdated system. This was something that also needed to be addressed.
The new website design provided a much needed refresh of the brand. We focused on a luxury feel and created a design that would reflect the high-end nature of the John Ryan brand.
As part of the website build, we created John Ryan a bespoke plugin for the back end that allowed them to easily manage stock and inventory. This addition revolutionised the way they changed products and prices.
Alongside the new website design & build we implemented a comprehensive digital strategy including PPC, SEO, content, social, and outreach and PR.

We identified that users didn’t know what they needed from their mattress and were getting confused by all the different types and tensions.
As part of the new website build we incorporated a ‘find your perfect mattress’ function which enabled users to answer a number of questions that would direct them to the mattress most suited to them.
