Why we decided to refresh our website

As an award-winning digital marketing agency, we understand the importance of presenting your brand a certain way. We’re always crafting beautiful, bespoke websites for our clients and a few months ago we decided it was time to create one for ourselves.

We already had a website that worked well. It ticked all the boxes. But we wanted a site that showcased our growth and development as a fully integrated digital marketing agency.

Run2 believe in the philosophy “if you’re not moving forward, you’re already behind” and we believed a new website was just the thing to push us forward, streaks ahead of our competitors.

Going back to the beginning…

To showcase how far we’ve come we really need to go back to the beginning. Run2 started only a few years ago as an seo start up with a small team of people. Focusing on seo, ppc and content we built a solid client base and established ourselves as a reputable agency. In a short time, as our client base grew, so did our team, and in turn, our offerings.

Attracting talented people allowed us to increase our scope, expanding to cover social media marketing, web design & development, ux, cro and branding.

We knew we really had something special and it became our priority to tell the world – it was time for a new website.

 

The new site

It was vital that our new website emphasised our philosophy and showcased our various areas of expertise. We wanted a site that was progressive, had movement and identified us as leaders in all things digital. A site that showed the world we were a step ahead.

Keeping the green was important as it’s a vital part of our branding and identity. But we decided to strip it back and use it in a more subtle yet powerful way. Introducing the pink as a secondary colour helped to give the brand and the website a lift.

The imagery used on the site was carefully chosen to evoke discipline, skill, hard work, determination and flair – everything that encompasses our Run2 brand. The content was crafted to not only perfectly complement the visuals but to give potential clients a clear idea of just who Run2 are.

 

Launching the website

We decided to launch the new website with a campaign entitled Question Everything. Question Everything is a call to action. It’s us asking marketing managers, established brands, start ups and even agencies like ourselves, to question what they’re doing in the world of digital marketing. Question the methods, question the results. If you don’t like the answers you get, it’s time to do something different.
