The Run2 Run-through: Our First 3 Months

It’s hard to believe it’s already just over 3 months since we re-launched as Run2. We’ve settled into our new guise well, and it’s certainly been a busy 3 months for the team with award nominations, an office revamp on the cards, and more new clients and projects than you can shake a stick at…

We’re not usually one to bang our own drum…

…but we were very pleased to be nominated for a prestigious Drum Search Award in the same week that we re-branded as Run2! This was a great achievement for us, and while were runners up this year, we’ve got our eyes on the prize for next year and a host of great case studies lined up for our entry, so watch this space.

In the dark for now (but not for long)…

Soon after we rebranded we were delighted to be approached to work with a very exciting new client, but we can’t reveal the company name – yet (another space to watch!). What we can say is that this client is an energy provider with a real difference; we can’t wait for the ‘big reveal’, with a full launch planned for mid-September.

In the meantime we’re busy designing and building a fully responsive website that is compatible with an external platform, penning and optimising all content, putting the finishing touches to the launch plan, and preparing an on-going search marketing and social media strategy.

This has been an especially exciting project for us because for the first time, we have been totally involved from day 1 and are proud to say that everything from creation of the brand, to UX, design and build has all been completed in house by our talented team.

We’re pleased that our offering of a ‘full digital solution’ is now helping us to attract clients who are at an earlier stage in their journey and are keen to ‘get it right’ from the off, meaning we are now becoming more involved in customer profiling, initial design and branding concepts, and UX and UI, before we even begin web development and digital marketing.

“Our concept is new, but Run2 instantly ‘got it’. The team has been able to convert the broader vision into something both beautiful and tangible. They are an extremely capable, dedicated group of people who understand the art and science behind quality marketing, and the importance of not only reaching but also converting new audiences.

I’m excited to launch, knowing we have the skills in the Run2 team to help make our mission to build a business with a difference a big success.”

A match made in Manchester

We’ve also recently welcomed Manchester clothing label, AKA, as a Run2 client. AKA happen to be one of our Ancoats neighbours, and we’re excited to partner with this independent label to re-design and develop a sleek and stylish new e-commerce website.

Again, we’ve been involved with UX and UI from the beginning of the process, and can’t wait to get cracking on a full search and social strategy for AKA once their new Magento site is launched.

“Christian is extremely capable and reassuring, and made sure we were well informed and comfortable with the client-specific strategy that he proposed.
It is clear to see the enthusiasm that the team at Run2 have for the projects that they are working on and this shows in the company’s outstanding and quantifiable results.

I would highly recommend Run2 to any business that is looking for a hands-on, tailor-made approach coupled with direct and efficient feedback and execution.
(And I don’t think that I should leave out Christian’s level head and incredible sense of humour which is invaluable when stress levels are running high!)”

Going global

We’ve also been busy helping one of our clients, IEC Abroad, to launch sites across the world. The website that we initially designed and built for the UK market is now replicated across a number of countries including China, Thailand, Saudi Arabia and India, complete with full translations.

Meanwhile, IEC Abroad in the UK continues to go from strength to strength with a 246% increase in conversions in June 2016 against June 2015, and around a 12% increase in conversions month on month on an on-going basis.

So now you’ve heard what we’ve been up to, how’s everything with you?
