Revolution Cocktail Bars: 260% boost in organic bookings

As an agency that specialises in online digital marketing, simply focusing on an increase in search visibility and users isn’t enough. Instead, it’s important to focus on what really matters to our clients, which is their bottom line. Hospitality is a great sector for us to work in, as the rules are often quite simple: increase bookings.

With many of our hospitality clients, correctly optimising for seasonality is crucial. In this case, Revolution wanted to increase Birthday party bookings, along with their Christmas bookings. Timing here was key. Too late and we would have to fight alongside increased competition. Too early and we would miss crucial search visibility around Christmas themed searches.

The challenge

Revolution was already a renowned brand with a loyal fanbase and UK wide reach. However, the company was looking at specifically increasing bookings for their Cocktail Masterclasses and showcasing their Christmas party bookings. Revolution is a name that many people have grown to trust over the years, and they expect a clear and easy to use online journey. With each of the company’s bars offering a variety of packages to choose from, it was clear that Revolution was going to need a highly sophisticated tracking system to monitor progress at a granular level.

What we did

In order to maximise enquiries, it quickly became clear that the site needed bespoke pages for each location. This was vital as it increased user trust in the brand, with many people preferring to shop locally. These localised pages helped target a specific audience, with a dynamic content marketing strategy that helped to increase the profile of the brand and influence conversions.

On top of this, we combined our expert knowledge of Pay Per Click with our organic prowess to help the wider digital approach and drive traffic to relevant, custom-designed landing pages. Extensive A/B split testing was then used to monitor and target Revolutions KPI’s, This had a real impact on conversion rates.
