We’re Hiring: Web Designer

Run2 is an award-winning digital agency in Manchester City Centre and we are currently looking for a Web Designer to join our expanding team.

Reporting to the Head of Design & UX, we would like you to bring imagination, creativity and passion to the role. Previous experience of creating original, responsive designs across desktop, tablet and mobile devices is a must.

Responsibilities

  • The design and management of creative and technical design projects
  • Ensuring projects are delivered on time and that each meets the client brief
  • Produce design collateral – landing pages, digital banners and website mock-ups
  • Work closely with the design team to ensure all designs deliver great user experience
  • Work closely with our development team to bring your designs to life
  • Adapt to different clients’ needs, creating bespoke designs based off their product, service type and audience.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year’s experience of working in web design
  • A high-quality portfolio of digital design work to showcase
  • A strong knowledge of Adobe’s Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Familiarity with WordPress, Magento, CSS and HTML
  • Experience with or knowledge of UX and UI
  • Experience of responsive and mobile design
  • A good eye for typography, colour and user interfacing to pull together your designs
  • Good understanding of brand guidelines and how to design within said guidelines
  • Comfortable and skilled in data driven design
  • It’s preferred that you have knowledge in conversion-based design, however training will be provided.

You also need to:

Be passionate about all things design and branding.
Have great attention to detail.
Be able to stay up to date with changes within the industry, especially in regard to trends and software updates.
Be easy going and adaptable to any alterations clients may require.
Be highly organised and able to work to deadlines, managing multiple projects simultaneously
Be a great communicator.
